NNPC/Belemaoil JV’s Water and Road Projects Yielding Developmental Impact in Northern Nigerian.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Joint Venture with Belemaoil Producing Limited, has undertaken several multi-million Naira Water and Road Projects across Nigeria, with a focus on improving infrastructure and social amenities in the Niger Delta region and the country at large.

The NNPC/Belemaoil JV’s patriotic commitment to providing social amenities and improving infrastructure has led to the construction of Potable Water Treatment Plants and rehabilitation of rural roads in several locations, including Katsina, Bauchi, Gombe, Sokoto, and many more locations across the country.

These projects have had a significant developmental impact on the lives of people in these communities, providing them with access to clean drinking water, better sanitation, and improved access to markets and other services, ultimately improving their quality of life.

In Katsina State, the NNPC/Belemaoil JV constructed and commissioned Potable Water Facilities with Treatment Plants at the Daura Airstrip, Daura Central Mosque, and the Emir’s Palace in Daura.

In Sokoto State, the perennial water scarcity and shortages impacting Sokoto State University, The Rijiyar Shehu, and Hubbaren Shehu Communities became a thing of the past, as the NNPC/Belemaoil JV delivered Potable Water Facilities with Treatment Plants to each community, providing 180,000, 250,000, and 250,000 liters of water capacity, respectively.

In Bauchi State’s Misau Local Government Area, the NNPC/Belemaoil JV delivered a 380m Road Project, a 420m Road/Drainage System, and a 1km Road Project at three different locations. The A.D Rufai College of Law and Islamic Studies also received a 180,000 liters Potable Water Facility, with two other potable water facilities of 375,000 and 180,000 liters capacity, respectively.

In Gombe State, the people of Kumo Town in Akko Local Government Area now have access to better sanitation and improved health, thanks to the NNPC/Belemaoil JV’s construction, commissioning, and delivery of a 120,000 liters capacity Potable Water Facility.

The NNPC/Belemaoil JV’s efforts in providing social amenities and improving infrastructure across Nigeria are noteworthy. These projects have had a significant developmental impact on the lives of people in these communities, providing them with access to basic amenities and improving their quality of life. This commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large is a laudable example  worthy of emulation.

It is worthy to not that all the potable water facilities and treatment plants meet WHO and NAFDAC Certification and Standards.
